Wendy and Brandon’s Wedding 4.29.11

Sorry I have been M.I.A from blogging but I’m making it up now with beautiful photos from Wendy and Brandon’s wedding.

When I first met B+W, I was blown away by their beauty as a couple. They are by far the hottest bride and groom I’ve ever worked with. I was a bit intimidated by them at first but the feeling didn’t last long for they are the friendliest, nicest and sweetest couple I could’ve met.

True to their initial, B+W had a very elegant white theme wedding. Wendy did an amazing job with all of the florals! I am still amazed by how much work and time it took her to make them and she still looked flawless on the wedding day. Their wedding was very tight on set-up time and I was quite worried, to be truthful, trying to set up a big wedding in such a tight schedule. I wasn’t one to refuse a challenge though 🙂 Because of the time restraint, I had to pull a lot of helping hands on my team in order to make it happen within 2 hours, which, in the end, turned out amazing with just slight glitches here and there. Working with professional vendors makes a whole lot of difference…especially when there were so many details with very little time to accomplish them.

Thank you to Apertura Photo for all the beautiful photos and capturing everything so splendidly!!!!

The day started with the bride and groom getting ready….I am absolutely in love with Wendy’s Lazaro gown!!!!

With only 2 hours to setup the reception ballroom to look as magical as B+W imagined, my team and I ran around like crazy making sure that table numbers, party favors, decorations, etc…are set. I am sooo thankful to have a great team who works so hard!

The big trees next to the cake and sweetheart table were brought from the outside ceremony onto the reception ballroom. They were really really heavy and we had to maneuver them as quickly as possible since there was quite a walk from both ceremony to reception ballroom.

Wedding location #15

This weekend has been another busy one ,1 location visit in Anaheim and a bridal show. I figured I might be getting all of my wedding location visits out of the way before I travel for my full time job. This location in Anaheim is quite small compared to what I’ve pictured on their website. It’s definitely a very nice venue for a small wedding and there is NO time limit, which is an added bonus. The one thing that bothered me about this venue is that it is located right in front of a street so if the ceremony takes place on the (fake) lawn then guests will hear the cars passing by.

Ceremony area….looks like the White House.

See what I mean by the street is Right there?

Reception hall.

Wedding location #14

Alright so the second location tour of the day took me to Huntington Beach. This location is a country club/golf club with lots of green in the area. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I needed to get in and out in order to get to my third appointment for wedding invitations in Laguna Beach. Besides, with the sun coming out after a week long of rain, I couldn’t pass driving along PCH to get to Laguna beach. I am going to also post a couple of pictures from the website so you can have a taste at how a wedding would look like at this venue.

Tomorrow is a very special day for me as I will meet my bride and groom for their wedding in July! We are going to sign the contract. My 1st one as a wedding planner!!! I’m so excited!!!! I haven’t mentioned her name yet…I want to make sure it’s ok with her 🙂

Wedding location #13

Uh oh…..is wedding location #13 means it’s bad luck??? Nah…..I’m not THAT superstitious. So today was a busy day, I had 3  places to go in 3 different cities and I had 30 min in between to get to each appointment….pfiou…good thing the rain stops on time for the weekend so I was able to take photos.

This venue totally reminds me of a rustic, old cowboy saloon!!! I felt like I needed cowboys boots, a hat and a drawl accent to go with the place. Mmmmmm…….to describe it better it has the feel of Frontierland at Disneyland! The view is absolutely gorgeous though if a couple decides to get married there.

See??? Gorgeous Orange County views!

Here are some western/cowboy like venue decorations.

Now, let’s get to serious business….here is the ceremony location. Can you imagine getting married here with the OC view in the background???

Reception location: sorry…couldn’t take too many pictures as a wedding was about to start but I’m sure you get the feeling of the place.

Y’all come back real soon! Y’a hear!

Wedding location #12

I hope everyone had a merry Happy Thanksgiving! Mine was filled with food and more food 🙂 Woke up early to cook on Thursday and was too lazy to wake up early on Friday for shopping. Saturday was 2 locations visit in Laguna Beach. Wedding location #11 and #12 are both sisters to the location #5 in Santa Ana.

This venue is perfect for the outdoor-sy couple as it is surrounded by mountains. The location was decorated for the holiday festivities and the tent was up for their night event. Starting May, the tent is removed and you can already picture the humongous outdoor wedding one can have.

The ceremony area.

I’m not sure if you can see the waterfall in the back. I was there taking a picture and imagining the waterfall sound when a couple will say their vow. Soooo…..dreamy!

Entrance to the reception area.

I love the chandelier in the middle of the tent.

See what I mean by surrounded by mountains?

Area where the cake will be displayed.

Now, on a more personal note, did I tell you guys that I finished my Unit B with an A- from the school? So much work was put into the homeworks and I’m glad I stuck through it all. Now I’m working on Unit C….and it is not a piece of cake. Much more difficult than I thought.
