Rosa and Anthony’s Wedding 12.22.17

I don’t do a lot of Friday weddings unless I really know the couple. In this case, when Anthony reached out and asked if I was available on December 22nd, my response was “it depends, who is the wedding for?”. He said it would be his and Rosa’s wedding and I didn’t hesitate one second. It was a “GO” for me. As some of you may know, Anthony used to be in the wedding industry (he was our wedding videographer!) and for him to choose “me” as his wedding coordinator was truly humbling to me as he does know a lot of people in the industry. I absolutely love Anthony and Rosa! Their wedding was mainly for their family and friends and they both were super chill about everything. If you can think of any popular food items to have at a wedding, they HAD it. There was so much food, it was insane! We definitely went out with a “bang” with their wedding. To top it all off, we worked with a fine group of vendors which didn’t seem like it was work at all but more like a party for all us vendors.

Work it Anthony!

See what I mean by this doesn’t feel like work? This is totally Anthony! I felt like I was just hanging out with friends all day long.

Rosa and Anthony are very involved in the Catholic Church. They are part of the Diocese Choir. We had about 14-15 Priests present at their wedding, which really says something about them as their wedding was right in the middle of the Advent season.

This backdrop was to die for! Three Petals really outdid themselves and made everyone feel the Christmas season.

Rosa and Anthony threw the wedding mainly for the children in their family. There is so much talent their family.

Yep, more food and desserts.

Rosa and Anthony…I cannot express how much I love you guys! You really made my job easy and by being so chill! Thank you for letting the KDWP team be a part of your wedding day during the Christmas season and for choosing/trusting us with everything. We wish you nothing but the best and a lifetime of happiness surrounded by your loved ones!

Jennifer and Michael’s Wedding 11.4.17

Jennifer reached out to us about 6 months prior to the wedding date, she was interested in our Jr. Coordinator package since they were having a small intimate wedding. Lily was the perfect candidate for the wedding since she has worked at the venue previously as the main coordinator.

From Lily: Michael and Jennifer were such a fun couple to work with. I was able to spend the day with them and get to know them even more. During the photo shoot, we can see from the amazing shots that they were having fun being silly. Their family and friends partied all night. There was a special moment at the end when everyone was singing and holding each other. That moment when you see how happy everyone is at the end of the day is the best feeling ever. Congratulations Michael and Jennifer!!

Karissa and Michael’s Wedding 10.28.17

Karissa and Michael live in New York City but wanted to have their wedding in California since most of their families live here. They hired me for partial planning as they have planned about 50% of their wedding. This is where I come in with my other 50% expertise helping them with final vendors, and connecting everything together. Michael and Karissa are super detailed and love spreadsheets, one of which consists of a long list of “to-do” leading up to their wedding day. We had constant communication and they were not afraid of emailing me with questions or ideas on how to pull the perfect wedding that they envisioned.

Michael cannot hide his excitement at the sight of his bride!

So in love!

Michael’s parents are the sweetest and so much fun!

When at a Filipino wedding, lechon is a MUST!

Michael and his mother choreographed a super cute mother/son dance.

Same Day Edit to relive the wedding

Karissa + Michael, I cannot thank you enough for trusting me from the East Coast to take the reign on your wedding. It was a pleasure planning the wedding and making your vision come true. We wish you nothing but happiness and a lifetime of love, laughter and food adventure together.

Brenda and Tony’s Wedding 10.14.17

My very 1st Hispanic wedding was with Brenda and Tony and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to experience it with. They are such a nice easy going couple and it was so much fun being part of their wedding day.

Butterfly release.
