Some wedding clients come into your life through a previous couple, which makes being part of their wedding day even more meaningful. I first met Katherine and David while coordinating Matthew and Kathy’s wedding the year before. When Katherine and David later reached out to us to coordinate their own wedding at Avenue of the Arts Hotel, I was so excited to work with them again. They came into the planning process with a very clear vision of what they wanted, and it was such a pleasure helping them bring that vision to life. They chose to work with several of our recommended vendors, and together, our trusted vendor team turned their ideas into the beautiful wedding they had envisioned.
The deep red color palette was one of my favorite elements of their wedding. The rich burgundy and red tones gave the celebration such a bold and romantic feel, while the ivory draping and gold accents kept everything elegant and timeless. The floral design was especially beautiful, with lush red roses and textured blooms creating dramatic arrangements throughout the ceremony and reception. I loved seeing the same rich color carried through the bridesmaid dresses, stationery, bridal bouquet, and even the smaller details, creating such a cohesive and intentional look.
And then there was Katherine’s dress — absolutely unforgettable. The sparkle, detailing, and fitted silhouette were stunning, and paired with her dramatic cascading red bouquet, she looked incredible. Between the gorgeous floral-filled ceremony, elegant reception, personalized details, and fun moments shared with their family and friends, Katherine and David created a wedding that felt completely like them. I’m so happy we had the opportunity to be part of their day and work alongside our amazing vendor team to bring their vision to life.

Katherine and David’s wedding was such a beautiful way to welcome the autumn season. From the moment the day began, everything felt warm, romantic, and filled with love. One of my favorite details was the deep red color palette they chose for their wedding. One moment I’ll never forget was seeing Katherine’s wedding dress for the first time. I honestly stopped for a moment because it was that beautiful. Glamorous, sparkly, elegant, and incredibly detailed, the dress had such a presence. It was dramatic, luxurious, and absolutely stunning. Of all the weddings I’ve had the opportunity to work on, this is definitely one of the dresses I’ll always remember. It was truly breathtaking.
The reception was equally amazing. Katherine and David shared a choreographed first dance that was so much fun and beautiful to watch. Seeing their personalities shine through that moment was so special, and you could feel the happiness and excitement throughout the room. Their family and friends filled the celebration with so much laughter, love, and joy.
Being part of Katherine and David’s wedding day was truly special, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to help bring their vision to life.
