Kim and Dwight’s Wedding 4.29.17

I absolutely LOVE Kim and Dwight. They became one of my favorite couples! They came to me with an interest for my partial/full planning. I usually don’t take a lot of full planning since I also work full time and it would require a lot of time and involvement. Since their wedding was a year + out, I had plenty of time to plan everything out. I couldn’t say no to them either after our initial meeting, they truly were the nicest, most enjoyable couple to talk to. I created a Power Point with their vision in mind and we started looking at venues. Once we settled on the reception site, we booked all of the major vendors. I’m glad they went with a lot of my vendor suggestions but they still had a say in what they wanted. It was a team effort planning the wedding. I didn’t force my ideas on them but worked with them on creating their dream wedding.

We started the day with a tea ceremony.

Kim and Dwight then changed to head out to the Church Ceremony.

I can’t get enough of Kim’s simple wedding dress.

Married! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Kim!

Korean Boy Band

The details of the cake from Intricakes are so on point!

I love that they incorporated the Korean Paebaek ceremony.

The traditional Korean outfit Han Bok for the Paebaek were too cute on Kim and Dwight! Absolutely love it!

According to legend the number that you catch signifies how many girls (dates) and boys (chestnuts) the newlywed will bear.

At the end of the Korean paebaek ceremony, the groom gives his bride a piggyback ride as a public display of his strength and a promise of his unending love to her.

Thank you Kim and Dwight for spending so much time with me and planning the wedding of your dreams. It was so much fun being part of the planning journey with you. Wishing the both of you a lifetime of happiness!

Christine and Callum’s Wedding 4.9.17

Callum and Christine met in England and have been living a long distance relationship for a while. They had a very sweet intimate wedding surrounded by family and friends. All of Callum’s family and friends flew in from England to celebrate their joyous day. Even their photographer friend flew in from England to capture their wedding day. Christine planned the whole wedding on her own but needed help on the day of. Lily, our Jr. Coordinator, took this wedding under her wings while I assisted her. It was so refreshing taking directions instead of giving directions.

From Lily, our Jr. Coordinator:

This couple was an absolute joy to work with. Christine is also an event planner. She only needed day-of coordination and we were happy to help. Since her Fiance, Callum, lived out of the country, she planned the wedding herself. Talk about amazing! Her vision was chic, very organic and classy. She was always happy to talk about the ins and outs of the wedding itinerary. I couldn’t wait to see this couple get married! The wedding was very intimate and the venue she picked was just gorgeous! She decided to have both the ceremony and reception at Five Crowns. Plenty of guests traveled from England and were so impressed by the details Christine had chosen. The room was filled with love and it felt like a fairy tale wedding. Cheers to you both and I hope you’re having a great time in England! Lots of love, Lily

Let’s take a moment to admire this cheese cake!!!

A look of love!

Surprise video from the groom’s grandparents who couldn’t make it to the wedding. It was such a sweet message.

Tammy and Vu’s Wedding 11.26.16

Last wedding of 2016 and I couldn’t have been more than happy to close it out with Tammy and Vu’s wedding. I’ve known Tammy for years and I consider her like a little sister. She was one of my bridesmaid after all. When I found out that she found her soul mate and got engaged, I was more than ecstatic for her. I offered her my services not knowing whether or not she would take me up on it since she likes to plan and do weddings herself. When she contacted me and said she was going to have me be her coordinator, it warmed and touched my heart.

Tammy is so talented, she made the paper backdrop for the tea ceremony and the arch in front of the house.
