Thao and Thang’s Wedding 9.3.17

Thao was referred by Vicky and Chris since Thao is marrying Vicky’s brother. My 1st impression when meeting Thao was “wow she is tall!”. Thao and Thang live in Northern California so a lot of our communication was via emails, texts and phone calls. Thao was such an easy bride to work with. She wanted the wedding itinerary to be as simple as possible without driving out of the hotel to take pictures.

Thao and Thang’s wedding was my 1st wedding after giving birth to my 2nd child. I needed the adult interaction and it was a nice break from being a full time mom at home. I have been wanting to work with Kevin Le Vu Photography for a while now and they did not disappoint one bit. Such a treat getting beautiful images from the wedding to share with everyone.

Ao Dai change before the tea ceremony.

Thao is the youngest of 5 sisters and the last one to get married!

Thao and Thang, thank  you very much for trusting me to be part of your wedding planning journey. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Quang and Nick’s Wedding 7.22.17

When Quang and Nick came to me on their wedding, I knew for sure I had to have a Jr. Coordinator take this wedding since their wedding would be a few days prior to my due date. I assured them that they would be in good hands with Christine. I was hoping to show up for a couple of hours at their wedding to help the team but as the day neared, I knew I had to rest since I was so big from pregnancy. Christine and the team handled the wedding exceptionally well and I cannot be more proud of them.

From our Jr. Coordinator, Christine: What I loved most about Quang and Nick was their love for their friends, family, and food. From the tea ceremony in the morning to the reception at the French Estate, they made sure that their friends and family had fun and was well fed. Working with the couple was a breeze. It felt like I had known them before as they were easy to talk to and super laid back. They also had a great selection of vendors. Thanks to Danielle Penn Photography, DJ T Roc, The Flower Boutique, Kelly Tran Artistry (hair & make-up), Ane Thanh Lion Dance, Funtastic Photo Booths and the French Estate for putting together an amazing wedding. Thank you to Brodard for providing the appetizers, Cafe Gratitude for the vegetarian dishes, and Paracel Seafood who catered an amazing seven course dinner. The wedding was filled with big smiles and laughter. Who knew the couple had such talent as well! Quang sang with her father a sweet Vietnamese song and Nick and his mom kicked off the dancing with their salsa moves. All the guests seemed to have a great time and left with full hearts and bellies. I can’t thank them enough for allowing me to be a part of their special day.

Jackie and Jon’s Wedding 5.28.17

Our Jr. Coordinator, Lily, brought this wedding to us since she was a bridesmaid at Jackie and Jon’s wedding. Lily helped Jackie planned the wedding from A to Z and in the end it looks gorgeous! This is the 1st wedding that Julie, our Jr. Coordinator, worked on and she did a great job!

From our Jr. Coordinator Julie: Jackie and Jon tied the knot on a beautiful Sunday in the Coto de Caza clubhouse. The couple instantly fell in love with the rustic, open ballroom and high beam ceilings. We were also lucky enough to use the lower level ballroom where Jackie and Jon prayed with each other and did their first look before the ceremony. The couple’s deep respect for their faith and their mutual love for each other were palpable amongst all their family and friends as they said their vows under the garden’s gazebo. They wanted their wedding to feel fun and easygoing, so opted for a festive taco bar that kept the guests coming back for seconds. Jackie was such an easygoing bride but the one thing she was adamant about? The DONUT and dessert bar which was a huge hit with her guests! They ended a long night of dancing with a huge sparkler send off to close out the weekend of celebrating.

This is why we do what we do! They absolutely love how everything looked.
