Jackie + Oscar’s Wedding 9.28.24

I met Jackie at a wedding we coordinated while she was assisting a friend with the flowers. Her sister, a bridesmaid at that wedding, reached out to us to gift our services for Jackie and Oscar’s wedding. During our thorough initial consultation with Jackie, we explored all the DIY projects she envisioned for her special day. Over the course of the year, I worked closely with her, carefully planning each detail to align with her dreams and hopes for this special day.

Just two weeks before the wedding, we faced an unexpected challenge when the reception venue needed to change, something we had anticipated. With determination, we quickly notified all guests and vendors about the venue change. Though it was a stressful two weeks, we rose to the challenge.

Finally, the wedding day had arrived, I knew I needed to gather my entire team—my most trusted allies—to tackle the beautiful D.I.Y. masterpieces created by Jackie. Jackie poured her heart into every detail, crafting the backdrop, centerpieces, and bridesmaids’ bouquets from paper. I was truly captivated by the strength, durability, and surprising pliability of those paper blooms, which allowed us to easily adjust their positions during the setup. It felt like we were handling delicate art pieces rather than simple decorations. The past year had been filled with countless hours of labor and creativity for Jackie, and as we set to work, we were determined to honor the trust she placed in us, turning her dreams into reality on this special day.

Following a delicious dinner, guests savored late-night snacks, indulging in the comforting treats from Chunk n Chip and the iconic flavors of In-N-Out. Their wedding radiated thoughtful planning and care, reflecting their wish to create an extraordinary experience. Jackie and Oscar’s dedication turned their special day into a cherished memory for their bridal party and guests, showcasing the beauty of love and celebration.”

I’m obsessed with how everything turned out!!!

Despite a few setbacks, I would count Jackie and Oscar’s wedding as one of our top 10 best couple and wedding we had the honor of coordinating.
