Rachel and Wynn were truly one of the most relaxed couples we’ve encountered during our time planning weddings. With a warm, easygoing demeanor, they shared that the primary reason for their wedding was to fulfill their families’ wishes rather than to seek the spotlight themselves. Understanding their preference for a more understated celebration, we made it our mission to design all the wedding activities to be as seamless and stress-free as possible for them. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, and we had to pivot our plans at the last minute due to an unexpected downpour, moving the ceremony indoors. However, rather than let the situation dampen their spirits, Rachel and Wynn maintained a joyful attitude, embracing the change with smiles. As the night progressed, the couple chose to depart the dance floor earlier than most of their friends and family, opting for a quieter moment to themselves. It was heartwarming to see how genuinely happy they were as they made their way out of the party, their faces glowing with joy as they headed to their room. Their love and contentment were evident, and it was a beautiful ending to a lovely evening.
From Sr. Coordinator, Jenny:
Rachel and Wynn are such an adorable and laid-back couple! They express their love through not trying to show PDA but the wedding day demanded it and they delivered!
To entertain the couple (and us) during the photos, the Best Woman, Denise, heckled Wynn the entire time. Rachel and her Matron of Honor, ShiYa took expression-less photos, possibly recreating a photo from the past. We all entirely had too much fun during the photo shoots.
It rained so we had to move the ceremony inside but you couldn’t tell we were inside because Rachel was beautifully glowing, Wynn was in eager anticipation to make Rachel his wife, and the family, bridal party, and guests filled the room with so much love and joy for the couple.
When it was time for open dancing, the couple, their family and guests hit the floor and brought out their best moves. After hours of dancing, we sent the couple off to their room with a bubble send off. Thank you Rachel and Wynn for letting the KDWP team be part of this special day of yours. It was truly one for the books!
