Finally, the last blog about our wedding! It only took me 4 months but at least it is here! I tried to incorporate a little bit of all my previous clients wedding into the reception since I pulled my inspirations from all them.
Here are the details of the Reception.
The Place Cards table.
The Sweetheart table.
Our silhouette! I had to incorporate a little bit of french in there 🙂
The sign-in table and money box.
The Cake.
With the talented Jenny Vu of Intricakes who made our cake!
I wanted the cream puffs in the shape of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Isabel from Sweet Nothings did amazing!
The reception overall look.
Our party favors were actually cake towel. Cute!
When guests arrived, they first took a picture with us then look for their place cards and sign-in.
Hors D’oeuvres and a hit at the open bar!
Bottoms up with some happy “courage” juice before the Grand Entrance.
The awesome DJZ pumping up the crowd before our Grand Entrance.
After looking at all the photos, I realize that I make the weirdest faces during our Grand Entrance. lol…
A high energy bridal party makes a great Grand Entrance!
Our First Dance.
We decided to dance to “This I promise you” by N’Sync 🙂 I was singing along the whole time so on a lot of the photos I made weird faces again.
We practiced the dip but when it was time to actually do it, we completely failed.
Our good friend Annh said a prayer to bless the food.
The open bar was a definite hit! I don’t think anybody went home sobber 🙂
Instant Party Pix Photobooth provided such fun entertainment to all of our guests. We had to get in and enjoy it too 🙂
The Best man speech from Renrick’s brother was so thoughtful.
Mmmmmhhh…I was wondering why all the bridesmaids were gathered on this side…
…well, that’s because they had a surprise dance up their sleeves!
They definitely surprised us with a dance routine to “Baby” by Justin Bieber!
Cheering for our bridal party!
I was so ecstatic!!!
The Maid of Honor speech.
I have no idea how my brother and sister pulled this off but they surprised us with some hilarious entertainment.
After their dance routine, my brother and sister lip-sync to Boyzone “Love me for a reason” because it was my favorite song!
I laughed so hard, I ended up crying at the same time!
All the years growing up fighting, bickering, yelling…in the end, we love each other.
And then, my sister made her speech and we lost it…
While I went in to change into my Vietnamese Ao Dai, guests were entertained with a Scavenger Hunt game.
The winner!!!
We are back!!! Husband in his barong and me in my ao dai.
Since we didn’t have a tea ceremony in the morning, I decided to keep the tradition and have a quick small one at the reception.
We continued the celebration with table greetings.
Yeah…I went a bit overboard and we had a chocolate fountain.
By the looks of it, it was a success!
With my sweet friend Natasha of Bride Culture, who custom-made my 3rd dress!
Alumiq amazed us with the Same Day Edit!
After the Same Day Edit, I serenaded Renrick with a song called “For All Time” By Soluna to show how much he means to me.
I had groupies in the audience! 🙂
I think he liked the song? 😉
In keeping with the Filipino tradition, we had a money dance.
Cake cutting and champagne toast.
He is so goofy!
Renrick made a speech…which I think was too long lol….
The bouquet toss got a little wild 🙂
Garter toss!
Look at me in the background still fixing my brother’s boutonniere!
We wanted to have a group picture with everyone at the wedding. It was a little bit of a challenge but we made it work!
Since everyone was already on the dance floor, DJZ pumped up the music for dancing and party! Best way to get the crowd on the dance floor!
Hogging the photobooth!
I can’t pick 1 ring shot because they are all great!
And the night ended with….
…which brings to 9 months later adding to our little family…
Meet Riley Reno Vinh Hidalgo!
🙂

The wedding wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing team of vendors. This is probably the longest list of vendors ever! I just want to make sure everyone gets the credit that they deserve 🙂
