Trini + Phong’s wedding 11.17.12

What can I say about Trini and Phong’s wedding besides W.O.W!!! It is by far the best wedding that KDWP has coordinated! At our 1st KDWP holiday dinner, Trini and Phong were voted Favorite Couple, Best Wedding, Best Decoration! At the initial meeting with Trini and Phong, I fell in love with them! Trini described her wedding to me and what she envisioned, I was hoping that I would be able to pull off everything she had in mind. I was a bit anxious because Trini had BIG ideas and she totally pulled it off! Trini and Phong met during Thieu Nhi (Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Society), their love for each other is undeniable. Phong is truly an amazing guy and would put all of the groom out there to shame. Throughout the day, I can see how Trini and Phong are loved by their family and friends, they thought of everything and it truly was an experience I would never forget.

I have to say that I like Trini’s gift better.

Trini and Phong’s wedding started bright and early. This was a very long wedding for me starting at 6 am since the tea ceremony was in Winnetka (a good 1hr30 min from OC). I remember Trini telling me that she hopes it wouldn’t rain because she hates the rain. Unfortunately, I can’t control mother nature and rain started coming down hard as soon as the tea ceremony started. I kept telling her that rain means good luck on wedding day. 🙂

After the Tea Ceremony, I made my way to the church for set up.

There were a lot of details that Trini wanted done for the ceremony. I usually work by myself in the morning so it was a lot of running under the rain to get things done on time.

Married!!! Congratulations Trini and Phong!!!

From what I’ve heard, the photo shoot location was very windy and cold. Everyone was a great trouper and battled the cold for pictures.

Trini and Phong’s garden theme wedding was to die for! It was simply amazing and lot of them were D.I.Y by Trini and Phong themselves!

We were on a time crunch to set everything and I can’t believe we pulled it off on time! I’m so glad that Trini and Phong were happy with the results.

Trini and Phong built the gazebo and they even included a pulled down screen!

Now that everything has been set up and looks absolutely stunning, let’s get the reception going!
