To wrap up the end of 2014, I couldn’t have asked for a more adorable, loving, friendly, thoughtful and caring couple than Yolanda and Calay. When I first met with them, I thought they were the sweetest. We instantly connected over our children which led me to become their wedding planner/coordinator. 🙂

I love Chinese tea ceremony! To me, they are way more fun than Vietnamese tea ceremony since it involves games prior to the groom entering the house.
Groomsmen had to pop the balloons around Calay. It was hilarious!
Besides testing the groom and groomsmen taste buds (they had to endure the taste of sour, sweet and spicy), the bridesmaids had all of them sing Backstreet Boys “As long as you love me”. They definitely needed more practice on the song. 🙂
Calay pulled the BIG Red Envelope in order to be allowed in the house and see his bride.
The Bride, Groom and their precious baby girl.
Lighting fireworks for the bride and groom departure to the groom’s side for the tea ceremony.
Here I am, helping everyone line up to enter the 2nd tea ceremony.
After the Tea Ceremonies, the bridal party headed over to the hotel to get ready. We were so ahead of schedule that I was actually able to sit down and rest for a good hour.
Love mother and daughter dresses!
I mainly deal with brides so I get to know them on a more personal level than the grooms. I don’t often talk about the grooms but I have to say Calay is one of my favorite groom that I’ve worked with. He was always asking me if I was OK, if I needed anything or if he could help me. He was always soft spoken. It warms my heart when I see Calay’s look when he sees Yolanda and their daughter. It is the look of love and adoration from a happy man.
These bonding moments between a mother and her child always gets to me. I guess it pulls at my heart string because I am a mother too.
While Yolanda was getting dressed, I was babysitting their sweet little girl and trying to get her dressed.
Only a mother’s love can soothe a fussy baby. ❤
One of my favorite photo of the day.
I’m amazed at how all the vendors came together to turn a typical Chinese restaurant into a fancy dream wedding. We completely changed the look of the whole venue.
Yolanda and Calay had 40+ tables and they flew with table greetings. I think they were done in 30 minutes. Loved it! We were so ahead of schedule that I wasn’t sure what to do with myself.
Their Same Day Edit was awesome!
