Ann + Cory’s wedding 9.26.15

Ann and Cory, this sweet couple of mine, found my services thanks to Yelp in January. At the time, Ann lives and works in San Jose while Cory was finishing school in San Diego. They needed someone in Orange County to do partial planning for them and I was more than happy to help them in the 9 months that we had to plan the wedding. I looked for venues, set them up with vendors that would fit their personality and reviewed all proposals. Cognizant of their budget, I crossed out many items in vendor proposals that they thought they needed or wanted. It was a pleasure working with Ann and Cory as they were so easy going. Our communication was mainly via emails and whenever they were in town, I crammed as many meetings with vendors as possible to make most of their time. I still had to leave some room for them to eat because they love to eat and Ann CAN eat! They always try to drag me out to eat with them when they were in Orange County but I had to refuse a couple of times since I was busy working weddings.

I don’t know how many times I’ve poked myself pinning boutonnieres on Ao Dai. They are so tricky to maneuver.
