Kim + Dwight’s Wedding 4.29.17

I absolutely LOVE Kim and Dwight. They became one of my favorite couples! They came to me with an interest for my partial/full planning. I usually don’t take a lot of full planning since I also work full time and it would require a lot of time and involvement. Since their wedding was a year + out, I had plenty of time to plan everything out. I couldn’t say no to them either after our initial meeting, they truly were the nicest, most enjoyable couple to talk to. I created a Power Point with their vision in mind and we started looking at venues. Once we settled on the reception site, we booked all of the major vendors. I’m glad they went with a lot of my vendor suggestions but they still had a say in what they wanted. It was a team effort planning the wedding. I didn’t force my ideas on them but worked with them on creating their dream wedding.

We started the day with a tea ceremony.

Kim and Dwight then changed to head out to the Church Ceremony.

I can’t get enough of Kim’s simple wedding dress.

Married! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Kim!

The details of the cake from Intricakes are so on point!

I love that they incorporated the Korean Paebaek ceremony.

The traditional Korean outfit Han Bok for the Paebaek were too cute on Kim and Dwight! Absolutely love it!

According to legend the number that you catch signifies how many girls (dates) and boys (chestnuts) the newlywed will bear.

At the end of the Korean paebaek ceremony, the groom gives his bride a piggyback ride as a public display of his strength and a promise of his unending love to her.

Thank you Kim and Dwight for spending so much time with me and planning the wedding of your dreams. It was so much fun being part of the planning journey with you. Wishing the both of you a lifetime of happiness!
