Erica + Matthew’s Wedding 11.21.20

Last year was definitely a tough year for the wedding industry as for our clients. Lots of our couples had to postpone or cancel their wedding. Our business has definitely suffered but we are still keeping afloat. We’re hoping for a better 2021 so crossing fingers.

For Erica and Matt, COVID-19 was not going to hold them from having their wedding. Their original venue in San Diego was no longer an option for them so they moved their wedding to Orange County for a more intimate wedding. Matt’s parents offered their home in Anaheim Hills as their new wedding venue backdrop and Erica knew wedding coordination will be needed. This is where KDWP comes in as Erica contacted us about 2 months prior to the wedding to put everything in motion. We reached out to rental companies to contacting all their vendors in order to move the wedding location and make the wedding become a reality. Truth be told, Erica was so organized and detailed, I don’t even think she needed us. We always immensely appreciate it when our brides are very organized as it makes our job a lot easier when there are so many details to follow through.

As this was our 1st weddings amidst a pandemic, our business had to adapt and change to keep everyone safe. We wanted to make sure that all safety requirements were transparent to the couple and all the vendors as it was our priority to provide a safe working environment. Armed with face masks, thermometer, hand sanitizer station in place, we were ready to take on this wedding fully prepared.

Colored ribbons were provided to differentiate their comfortability level. We also took each guest’s temperature as they entered the ceremony.

The backyard was transformed into the most beautiful ceremony site overlooking Anaheim Hills.

After the ceremony, while the bridal party was taking portraits and guests were enjoying cocktail in front of the house, we were busy flipping the ceremony into the reception.
