Gwenyth + Kevin’s Wedding 8.31.13

This wedding was the start of the crazy 5 back to back weddings in a row for KDWP.

Gwenyth and Kevin are 2 wonderful loving people who made sure that all of their guests had a memorable day. It is by far the biggest and most beautiful wedding KDWP has worked on so far. It was one lavish extravagant wedding that we will never forget. I have to admit that it was quite challenging at times but we pulled it through even though we encountered some hiccups along the way. Gwenyth and Kevin booked my services about 1 month prior to the wedding. I was hesitant to accept the booking at first because it didn’t give me much time to prep before the wedding. I took on the last minute coordination after meeting with Gwenyth and Kevin and couldn’t refuse after they described to me the vision they had for their wedding day. I was really really nervous as the wedding day was looming closer, there was so much to do yet so little time left. Gwenyth and Kevin’s wedding definitely put my wedding expertise, planning and coordination to the test. I had to do a lot of quick thinking and relied on my team to work extremely fast. Poor Gwenyth and Kevin had a lot of headache too, their original photographer quit on them 1 week prior to the wedding. It was a mad rush to find a last minute photographer during peak wedding season. Luckily, a good friend of them stepped up to the plate to save the day. Big thanks to Allan Le Photography for working so hard and delivering amazing photos.

Tea Ceremony

After the tea ceremony at Gwenyth’s parents, we headed over to the groom’s parents for a 2nd tea ceremony.

I am absolutely in LOVE and obsessed with Gwen’s wedding gown! It was custom made and it looks gorgeous!

Gwenyth and Kevin rented a mansion in Orange. It was the perfect place for bridal portraits.

I can’t get over Gwen’s dress! It was truly made for her. She looks absolutely stunning in it!

Meanwhile, at the reception, it was a mad rush to get everything set up.

500 place cards arrived freshly printed 1 hour prior to guest arrival. KDWP team had to tear, fold and line them up at the speed of light.

In LOVE with the flowers from Three Petals. It was orchids galore!

Bellevent did an excellent job with the video showed prior to the Wedding Party Grand Entrance! It looks like a movie straight out of Hollywood! Check it out! You’ll be blown away!

Yes, it was one of the most stressful night of my life but in the end, getting a hug from Gwen and Kevin to thank us for a great job we did meant the world to us. It made for all the running around, being behind schedule and resolving all of the hiccups worth it. Gwenyth and Kevin, thank you so much for letting my team and I be part of your beautiful wedding. You guys definitely know how to throw a party! We wish you many wonderful years of happiness together. Keep posting photos of the food you are eating in Vegas! I live vicariously through you.
