Mai + Nham’s wedding 1.30.16

I received a call from Mai on Cecilia and David‘s wedding day for her wedding. At the time of the call, she said her wedding is 4 weeks away and she needed a coordinator. I told her that for her wedding size, I usually wouldn’t do it because it doesn’t give me much time to prepare. After exchanging a few words, we decided to meet the next day to discuss more. It turns out Mai’s sister and maid of honor is in the wedding industry, Sweet Events by Anh, and everything has been planned and ready to go. They just needed someone to be there on the day of to set everything up. After meeting with Mai and her sisters and seeing how sweet they all are, I decided to help them. I was a bit apprehensive leading up to the wedding because there was so many details to the wedding and I didn’t want to disappoint Mai and Anh.

It was a lot of work but I don’t regret one bit after seeing the end result, the wedding was just beautiful. I’m still in awe of how gorgeous everything turned out to be and I am glad I had a hand in helping Anh execute her vision of the wedding for her sister.

Mai and Nham got married at Blessed Sacrament in Westminster where Mai’s parents got married 30 years ago to that day.

It was a very special moment witnessing Mai’s father walking her down the aisle.

So many intricate details went into the reception decoration. Anh and Mai’s vision was to turn the reception into a winter wonderland and they accomplished that. Better Choice Flower did an amazing work on flowers as well.
