We celebrated 2016 in style with a fantastic wedding right after ringing in the New Year. Cecilia interned for KDWP a few years back but she was so busy with school and work that she decided not to pursue the field. I also think I scared her away from it since she saw how much work was involved when planning/coordinating a wedding. 🙂
Cecilia and David wanted a no frill, easy-going wedding to enjoy with their family and friends. When they contacted me to coordinate their wedding, I was a bit surprised since Cecilia knows a lot of coordinators (she interned for a few if I recall correctly) but I was more than happy to be part of their special day. I also had the pleasure of working with Trini and Phong, a past couple of ours, who now have become successful photographers. Thank you for the beautiful pictures Trini!
Cecilia was a stunning bride and she made it look so easy.
Gorgeous!
Timeless.
Love Cecilia’s dimples!
Adorable little flower girl.
Married! Congratulations David and Cecilia!
David and Cecilia are outdoorsy people so having the wedding on the water in Newport Beach was just the perfect setting for them.
These place cards were quite a challenge to line and stand them up.
Meanwhile, KDWP set the dessert table. Yummy pastries from Porto’s.
I became the photographer’s lighting assistant too. 🙂
Cecilia and David surprised David’s parents since it was their wedding anniversary…
….and Cecilia’s cousin since it was his birthday.
Love David and his mom dancing together.
Cecilia’s mother gifted Cecilia with her original baby onesie. Do you see where Cecilia gets her looks from?
Thank you Cecilia and David for letting us start the New Year on a high note. It was truly a pleasure being part of the wedding festivities. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
