Diem + Joseph’s Wedding 10.7.17

75% of the weddings we do are through word of mouth, mainly referrals from past couples. We can’t thank everyone enough for referring us, keeping us employed and doing what we love. 🙂

In this particular case, my past bride Shari absolutely wanted Diem and Joseph to hire me for their wedding and even offered to pay a portion of my service as a gift to the couple. Isn’t Shari the greatest friend ever??? She contacted me a year out from their wedding date, I was on vacation out of country (the irony is that I was trying to take a break from all the weddings since I was working so much lol) but we ended up working something out so I could be part of Diem and Joseph’s wedding.

I actually have met Diem and Joseph at Shari and Jay’s wedding and I knew how talented she is. I have to say that I am very glad I was involved in their wedding because I have the most talented, kind-hearted clients. Try to stay until the end of the blog, I have a little treat for everyone to showcase how talented Diem is.

Such a good looking couple!

After 8 years of being a wedding planner and countless weddings under my belt, you’d think I have done it all. Diem challenged me to decorate her cake with fresh flowers. I didn’t tell her at the time that this would be my 1st time doing it and it turned out great, I might say. Although, I was shaking the whole time I inserted each flower on the cake. 😀

We’re pros now at hanging couple’s initials on hedges.

During the parents’ dance, a very special song was played. Diem recorded a song to pay respect and acknowledge their parents! It was so meaningful, I cried the whole time. Diem was kind enough to let me share her talent so listen to how beautiful her voice and song is.

Diem also composed and sang a beautiful song to her husband Joe. Unfortunately, I do not have the song yet. As soon as I do, I will post it for everyone’s enjoyment.
