Tiffany + Craig’s Wedding 8.18.18

August 18, 2018 was quite the popular date! I turned down a handful of weddings for that date. Tiffany booked our services 1 year in advance knowing that this date was going to be a popular one. Some of you might be familiar with Tiffany, she’s been the wedding coordinator at the former St. Callistus and now Christ Cathedral. She was my wedding Church Coordinator back in 2011. Having Tiffany reach out to me for her wedding was a blessing and honor as she has worked with a lot of wedding planners and coordinators in Orange County.

Tiffany and Craig actually met at a wedding that Tiffany was coordinating at the church. Craig was one of the groomsman and he made his move on Tiffany. It was just fate that they met at the church and are now married.

Tiffany worked with a lot of priests in the Catholic Church so there was about 10 priests in attendance at the wedding.

Can you believe that all of Tiffany’s bridesmaids are her nieces?

Chinese people say that the number “8” is a lucky number, unfortunately for us, there was a lot of hiccups that we needed to jump through on that particular day. Among many problems we encountered, the hotel was under construction so they did not let us have the fog machine during the 1st dance at the last minute even though we cleared everything with them prior. The dance floor vendor’s car broke down near San Bernardino so they arrived 30 min before doors were to be opened for reception and they brought the incorrect floor decal. Guests kept knocking down the candles walkway that Tiffany really wanted to have. To top it all off, valet couldn’t find one of the bridesmaid’s car keys at the end of the night. Lots of things were out of our control at times and we had to do a lot of damage control but we made sure that everything went down without stressing Tiffany and Craig. They were great troopers and didn’t let any of these “hiccups” damper their joyous day as we updated them as much as possible.

The wedding ended up being beautiful and no one really noticed the behind-the-scenes. That’s what we are here for 🙂
